Oils

My work is about memory and the solace we can find in nature. But there is also a sense of the disquiet that lies beneath the tranquility - a storm approaching across the ocean, an abandoned campfire. You might see birds and other animals but they will be in the distance moving away as you would most often see them in the wild. You won't see people, but you'll see and feel their presence in a distant house, a fence line, a road or path, a campsite or an old long-neglected barn, - reminders of what was and what remains.
